Yesterday my class [Tawhirimatea ] and i where planting cabbage trees because we want to make sure we have trees
first we added a hand full of soil in to a plastic bag and then you pull out the plant for the plastic container and then you place it in the plastic bag and then you have to add more soil till your finger tip can be placed in the bag then you have to add a weed mat then you add more soil and then your done.
We are doing this for Arbor day. Arbor day is all about trees. Trees are important because it gives us oxygen and it’s a habitat to bird’s.
This week my studio did a rainbow art first we had to do a collage about fish then we had to a sketch of the sea animal next we did something with paint and pastel first i drew with the pastel and then we had to paint next we drew over our sketch next we etch it and that’s how mine turned out.
Today me and my Math group did a virtual reality experience there was a lady who was named Sian she came with the VRheadsets’s she seated them on the ground calmly and softly then me and my math class had came in and sat behind the headset then she said we where going to experience the ocean but in a VR headset so we got straight into it i saw a sting ray and a sea lion then she told us who she worked with and it was a company who was named BLAKE . BLAKE is the last name of a famous man who sailed the Oceans he died by Pirates they shot him while he was talking to his crew I also saw deep unnder the sea too then at the end she showed us some photos of the sea from 2014 then 2019. In 5 years there was no seaweed and no fish.
