Today in maths we had to make a rotating,reflecting,translating pattern.

Rotating pattern means the pattern has to be rotating.

Reflecting means that the pattern has to be mirrored meaning symmetrical.

Translating means a moving pattern but in the same direction.

I made the rotating pattern out of arrows.

I made the reflecting pattern out of a moon.

And I made the translating pattern out of triangle.

For the past 2 weeks our class have been seeing a police officer.

The police officer’s name is Constable Jeff and he has been teaching us how to keep ourselves safe.

He has been teaching us about the different types of Abuse there is Cyber,Family ect.

We were in TWM in the big breakout.

I learnt (5 bullet points)

• The reason why the police have the taser yellow is because when they pull it out to use it they have to make sure they got the right gun.
• Always have a strong voice so that when you are getting treated you can say stuff.
• The reason why they have stab proof armour is so when they stop someone they don’t get hurt.
• Constable Jeff had a taser whit 500 volts so it would hurt if you get tasered.

I found  paying attention most challenging because I couldn’t pay attention the whole time so I need to work on paying attention.

What question would you ask Constable Jeff?

Last week we had Monday Mashup I chose Kio-Rahi because it is kinda like Rips rugby but instead of it being a rectangle its a circle and there are no outs.

In kio-rahi I learnt that its good to pass the ball to people otherwise your tag could get ripped.

I found it easy because you just had to tap on the poles and get a try.

I showed integrity I didn’t quit and I just kept on going and I follow the rules.

I showed sportsmanship by ripping the opponent tag and helping my team mates out.

I recommend Kio-Rahi because its good in sport and its good in sportsmanship meaning helping people.

So today  in maths  we had to make  wrapping paper using shapes and we had to make it be rotating,slide with a combination of mirror and symmetry

For the past 2 weeks we have been doing chrome music lab it is a website that you can make music on

or beats.

I went on to a song maker i made a pyramid and a little checker  and i tried to make some circles.

There was a song maker,shared piano,sound waves,rhythm, spectorgram and there were more but too much they were all fun though,I’M REALLY Tried

For the past 4 weeks we have been doing a Matariki pixel art thingy.

Its were you like put a letter and it will  do a colour put its a specific colour

I have been enjoying this because I have been designing it like stars.

The most hard past was getting the right pixels in the right place .

I liked the finished results it looked like it was like going lighter colours in the middle.

For the past 2 weeks the Year Six’s and I were doing a toy box on our Chromebooks and it was fun because you can put any toys you want in the box .

The most challenging was probably making the box so they would be equal.

The most fun was adding the toys in the box .

I enjoyed finding some toys.

I added some Shrek toys and,spongy Bob ,donkey from Shrek.

Today in maths we got a task to pick 5 shapes that either have the same shapes,angles,corners,and sides or it cold me symmetry.

First we remove the lid from the cannister and place the rocket in the container upside down

Next we pour water rocket cannister up to the black mark

Finally we put the lid back on firmly

The most challenging thing was me and my buddies putting the lid and putting the tab in the cannister

what happened was the lid came of so ours didn’t work properly put
