Weekly Reflection

One thing I really enjoyed this week was Kaupapa matua because we learnt about the different Patu and Mere Pounamu and we had to research them. We all learn about Patu.

A challenge I faced this week was running around the bike track twice with a rope in Maurakau.

And holding the tip of a plait for Jaelyn-Rae because I was holding it for about half an hour.

I felt proud of doing most of my maths this week because I don’t really get to finish most of it.

And paying attention because I get easily distracted and actually finish my work.

Next week I would like to change my concentration on my work because I’m really bad at that and to get my work finished.

And my handwriting because it was really bad this week and I really care about my handwriting.

  1. Kia ora Delanie, this is Whaea Jude. It sounds like you have been very busy in Ata Hāpara already this term! I can imagine how much of a challenge it would be to run around the bike track with a rope. I enjoy running, but I don’t run with a rope. I wonder if it helped you to get fit for your cross country race. Keep working on your goals, it sounds as though you are already making improvements in your Maths learning. Ka pai!
